Interesting idea, but what's the criteria? Taste regardless of cost?
Value for money? Bit subjective of course.
Consistency? Franchises can be terrible at consistency.
Or just whichever each user who replies think or feels is best or worst overall? Maybe even if you haven't thought too much about each of the different aspects.
Is there even a proper definition of fast food? There's places that many might not think of as "traditional fast food" but is nevertheless pretty fast anyway; Panera's and Schlotzky's comes to mind. Having a drive-through line wouldn't necessarily qualify either; don't know if I've ever seen a Domino's with a drive-through line. Pizza Hut locations may or may not have one.
Maybe let's expand it to any chain restaurant that doesn't have wait staff - order and pickup at the counter, may or may not have a drive-through line.
Excellent question, and sorry for not clarifying.
So for mine, I based it mostly on taste, with extra points rewarded if the consistency was on point.
However, if you want to use different criteria, just specify which criteria you're using.
Also, when I say fast food, that can refer to fast food chains with or without drive thus.
